I went to Tokugawa Garden here in Nagoya to see Erhu artist Zhang Bin and his orchestra perform today. omg it was so amazing! I can't put it in words what I had felt from hearing Zhang Bin play! Definitely gave me more motivations to work on my erhu skills.
I bought his DVD and 2 of his CDs. And after the concert I got to talk to him since a friend of a family knew him pretty well. We got talking about music in general and he actually invited me to go check out his studio one day! I was so excited!
In my opinion, as a musician and as a person, Zhang Bin is a great man. He really does love music for what it is. It's always nice to meet another musicians who feels that way.
