YouTube acting up?

One of the main thing I always look forward to on YouTube are the comments left by everyone on my videos. I love reading them, and I enjoy replying to most of them.

One thing that has been annoying the living hell out of me is that, lately whenever I respond to a comment, the original comment left by my subscribers gets deleted. Now I don't know why this has been happening, but it's apparent that I'm not the only one this is happening to. This has been happening to many of other YouTubers as well.

Seeing that this is happening, I am afraid to respond to any of them, considering I never know if those comments will get erased or not. I'm not sure how long it will take before youtube or google fixes this problem, but hopefully it will be soon.
